It is the mission of the Carter Childcare and Early Learning Center to provide quality childcare for all families in the community; with a nurturing, loving, and educational environment. The childcare needs of all economic levels are served, enabling families to obtain employment or to further their education.
It is the Goal of the Carter Childcare and Early Learning Center:
· To provide high quality, developmentally appropriate childcare for preschool children with focus on the individual child’s age and ability to stimulate social, cognitive, physical, and emotional growth.
· To provide a safe, nurturing and recreational environment for school age children while their parents work or attend school.
· To provide high teacher to child ratios to allow for more individualized attention and care.
· To provide opportunities for families to be involved with their children’s education and have access to parenting support and education.
The objectives of the Carter Childcare and Early Learning Center are:
· To provide a curriculum with enables each child to develop new skills at their own ability levels, to prepare each child to succeed in kindergarten and to provide a safe, healthy environment for the children so their parents can obtain peace of mind about their child’s care.
· To provide a variety of activities in a safe, friendly, supportive environment.
· To provide opportunities for parental involvement in the operations of the Center.
The Carter Childcare and Early Learning Center, LLC, a locally owned profitable childcare center, dedicated to providing full-time or part-time daycare for children ages 0 to 13 years. The center provides a warm, nurturing, educational environment. Our philosophy is to uphold the dignity of the individual child.
The Center serves clients from Carter County and the surrounding counties. We also provide Before and After School Care for children in grade K-8 in the Carter County Public Schools.
The Center is a Type I State licensed facility through the Division of Regulated Childcare. We offer CCAP (government assistance) to any family in need. The Center will use USDA meal program to ensure all children are given the nutrients they need to support growth and development. All staff members will be American Heart Association First Aid and CPR certified.
